It came without ribbons…It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes or bags! Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before! What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store? What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more!” ~ Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas

This Christmas season should indeed be much more than ribbons, bows, tags or bags. As we rejoice in celebrating the birth of Jesus, do not forget those less fortunate who have no place called home. Let our hearts and prayers be with those who are suffering in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere. As we bring the kindness and spirit of Christmas into our hearts and homes, it can be the most human of all seasons…say a prayer to those less fortunate. Think about those who lost their loved ones in the act of terrorism.
May you all the have the gladness of Christmas which is hope; The spirit of Christmas which is peace; The heart of Christmas which is love.
